This isn’t a typical straight-front stainless steel range hood.

The front is shaped with a deep, gradual curve, giving the Artisan Custom Modern Metal Range Hood ATHS-22 a much more distinctive profile without making the overall design complicated. The curved surface also gives the stainless steel more dimension, especially across the wide front panel where the brushed grain catches the light.

The detail that really sets this hood apart is the four gold straps running vertically across the front. Instead of sitting flat on a straight surface, each strap follows the curve of the custom hood cover from the top down to the lower edge. This creates four clean sections across the canopy and gives the metal body a strong sense of structure.

Each strap is finished with dark visible rivets, adding a small but noticeable contrast against the gold. They break up the long metal strips and give the front a more substantial, built-up look.

The main body is made from brushed stainless steel, keeping the finish clean and understated so the gold details do the talking. The brushed grain runs consistently across the modern vent hood, giving the larger surfaces texture without the high shine of polished stainless steel.

1. Internal Motor

The motor is installed inside the range hood and exhausts cooking air outdoors through ductwork.

An internal motor, also called an internal blower, is the most common ventilation option for residential range hoods. The blower is housed inside the hood insert, where it pulls smoke, grease, heat and odors through the filters before directing the air outside.

2. Remote Blower

The motor is installed away from the range hood, typically in the attic or another approved location along the duct route.

A remote blower separates the motor from the range hood insert. Smoke, grease and cooking odors are still captured at the hood and exhausted outdoors, but the blower motor operates farther away from the cooking area. Moving the motor away from the hood can reduce the motor noise heard directly above the range. Air movement through the filters and ductwork will still be audible.

Because each hood is custom made, the production timeline begins after you have reviewed, signed, and approved the final drawing.

Free Standard Shipping

Free standard shipping is available to most addresses within the United States.
The estimated total lead time is 40–50 business days after final drawing approval. This generally includes:
-20–25 business days for production and order preparation
-20–25 business days for shipping and delivery

Actual timing may vary depending on the size and design of your hood, as well as the delivery location.

Expedited Shipping

Need your hood sooner? Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee.
The estimated total lead time is 25–35 business days after final drawing approval, including:

Caring for a Copper Range Hood

Our copper range hoods are handcrafted from durable 16-gauge copper and finished with a clear protective coating. Gentle cleaning will help preserve the color and surface finish.

Routine Cleaning

For everyday care, dampen a soft cotton cloth with warm water and a mild, non-acidic soap. Gently wipe the surface to remove dust, grease, and cooking residue.

Choose a pH-neutral cleaner whenever possible. Strong dishwashing liquids, abrasive cleaning products, and aggressive scrubbing may affect the protective finish.

Removing Buildup

For heavier residue or occasional disinfecting, use a diluted household cleaner that is both non-corrosive and non-abrasive.

9. Shipping and Tracking

After the hood is cleared for shipment, it will be carefully packed and sent to the delivery address on the order.
